2010 Build For The Cure

For the first time in Palm Beach County, the South Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® will have the team of Dreamstar Custom Homes to create the Build for the Cure Show home. The home, located in the Ibis Country Club Community of Bent Creek, will be used to raise funds for the Komen South Florida Affiliate, the largest grassroots initiative for finding a cure for breast cancer.

Executive Director Anita Holmes of the Komen South Florida Affiliate adds, "The South Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is very pleased to partner with Dreamstar Custom Homes on a most unique fundraising effort. "Build for the Cure" has the potential to raise substantial funds for the many programs in our service area. It also will afford us the opportunity to attract additional community support that will help to expand our database of supporters and attract new volunteers to our organization. This is a very creative project and it is an honor to be affiliated with such a prestigious builder."

In addition to donating the use of their home for charity, they have taken the initiative to build 'green,' therefore creating a lighter footprint on our environment."
